Mockumentary Final Video

My team members were: Ana, Rubab, and Ruth.

Our Mockumentary was mocking suspenseful videos. In our video, Ana and Rubab were waiting on something so impatiently. Finally, the wait is over and the microwave beeps. Unfortunately, we realize that they had been waiting for nothing because they forgot to put food in the microwave.

What we would have done differently would be regarding the shooting of the video. We should have been more organized and better at shooting. Many of the videos were shaky and they were hard to edit because of how long we let the camera run.

The song I used in the video was called "Is That You Or Are You You?" by Chris Zabriskie

Creating a Career Website

The first time we used Dream Weaver, I was intimidated. Although I love working on the computer and designing various things, I was afraid I wouldn't know how to properly use Dream Weaver, since it was brand new to me. Luckily, we had the opportunity to create a practice website before we were left on our own to create our career website.
It was something I had never done before. Researching the information I wanted to include and the images I wanted to use was the easy part. However, putting it all together was more challenging than I thought it would be. There were many times when the computer was not cooperating and it was a very frustrating task. However, there were also times when I discovered features on my own that I really liked and included in my website.
I believe that if we had been given more time to work on the project, I could have perfected it even more and created an exceptional website that could actually include much more information. I'm glad we had this opportunity because I now know what to look forward to when creating my website for my Capstone Project. I already have some great information and background experience on creating websites and I will be one step ahead in making a great website for my project!

Best & Worst Websites

Worst:
http://heaven.internetarchaeology.org/heaven.html#bottom
This is not a good example of a well formatted website because it has too much going on and it is pointless. It is distracting with its many moving images that do not fit together. There is no useful information, just moving images.

Best:
www.yahoo.com
This website has a meaning and the image sizes are just right and nothing is too much. Although it gives information on many subjects, it doesn't look messy.
www.richlandcollege.edu
This site is useful and is simple and has working links. There are no useless distractions, and every tab has concise information.
www.applytexas.org
This site is for college students and doesn't crash and has simple colors and backgrounds. Everything is orderly, and makes it easy to fill out the applications.
